Description: At the end of the 1800’s the workday was twelve hours long. In general today it is eight hours long. However, in the big cities such as Rome, Paris, London, New York, Moscow and Tokyo the decrease of working time corresponds with an increase of transportation time. Every morning millions of men and women spend one, two, three hours to reach factories, workshops and offices. Through the eyes of a woman who crosses the city every morning to go to work, the documentary describes the two hour trip in ten minutes.
